I went to the regional in Preston yesterday and they were having the Old Skool Grands, too.
They had four groups racing survivors and a Show n Shine.
Here are some photos of the bikes:
Slingshot

mid school SX

mint Patterson

really nice GT

survivor/racer Vector

UK Firebird

cherry JMC

Cool man. I love how you left the loop tail out of the JMC shot.

It's all good.

Great post.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there, does it make a sound?
If the looptail of a JMC is not visible in a photo is it still a looptail?

My main was coming up and the bikes were kind of tightly packed, making it hard to get good photos.

Nice bikes there.

I'm sure there is more bling in the UK than anywhere else.

Awesome photos. I'd have goosebumps there for sure. In fact, I'd prolly skip racing altogether that day. wink.gif

im drooling over that GT with the blue uni seat. Very similar to mine bitd :/

You should have seen all of the survivors that the guys were racing on; GHP, Elf, one of the first Clayborns, GT, Vector, Raleigh (they are big on their Burners in the UK), and SE just to name a few.

They also had stuff for sale; including NOS stuff. If I had had some money I would have picked up a set of NOS red Dia-Compe 901s.

If a man is alone in the woods and speaks with no woman, present to hear him, is he still wrong?

It's a great thread man. We'll let you slide on the looptail, just this once!
