First off, it was great seeing so many vintage BMX members at the 1st annual old school bmx show held in San Jose, Ca; Calabazas Park in Nor-Cal. I would like to thank Calabazas Cyclery and Kenny for putting in this great event. There were alot of action in the pits and on the jumps in the jump park. BMX legends such as Frank Post, Danny Oakley, Joe Decipolo, Terry Tennent, and others ( Please feel free to add the names that showed up ) for a cameo apperence. Festivities included a contest for the best 70'- 90' bmx bikes, wheelie contest, bunny hop contest, jump contest, BBQ, and all the free RockStar energy drinks for everyone. The weather was beautiful for such a great event. As I promised, here are the photos I took of the festivities. I can't wait for the next one smile.gif.

It was a super cool event. Nice bikes and cool old faces. I wanted to stick around to enter the wheelie contest, but I had promised my daughter and her friend a lunch at Hooters, so I had to split. I should of gotten Serefin to take a picture of my 16" Powerelite that my kid was riding around, it is the only bike I have left from my childhood snd I got it when I was 12!

Whats Up All! Oh man, the "First Annual NorCal Ol School BMX Get Together" was Friggin awesome. I even ran into a few friends that I hadn't seen in 20years or so. I just can't believe the time and money some of these guys put into the beautiful bikes they brought back to life. Seeing those bikes, the friends, just made feel like 14 years old again. It was awesome hooking up again with Danny Oakley!...Wassup Johnny Johnson! I hear that SoCal is having a gathering early June too?! I'll be posting pics real soon. Later! drinks.gif
