Due to the 25th anniversary of BMX at Cologne Jugendpark, the original Haro Freestyle Team from the 80's will present their legendary show at the BMX Worlds from July, 10th to 12th 2009. The official IBMXFF World Championships gonna be RAD this year, regarding to the motto: „ Back to the roots“ the members of the worldwide most famous BMX-Team, the Haro BMX Freestyle Team with Ron Wilkerson, Brian Blyther and Dave Nourie will show the best moves out of the 80's! No other than old time tour announcer Kevin Martin will be on the mic to cheer up the crowd! Actually the founder of the BMX-Freestylesport, Bob Haro himself, announced his coming.

i heard about this and i forgot to ask ron about it. he was at my local park before he left due to a flat tire. hopefully next time. someone should tape the shows.

P.S. They are all looking for OG Haros like they rode BITD. So if anyone in Germany wants to help with this historical moment by lending them some bikes that would be cool, They dont have to be NOS or even new looking just good quality operating bikes, pm me and I will conect you to the right people.

after germany they need to come and do a tour in the states.
they should go to all the old bike shops if still around.

It talks about the "BMX Worlds" taking place July 10-12, 2009. Don't confuse that with the UCI BMX Worlds taking place in Australia later in July. This is the freestyle worlds.

Mike, I know its talk to Ron night, Blyther and Dominguez will both be there also. Should be a good time.

OK,trying to find out a bit more on this event as there will be quite a few travelling down from the UK to see this and probably taking down some Haro replica show bikes (Dominguez/Bob haro/Sigur reps)and possibly others to display if we can,not 100% sure yet ,depends if we can sort it as its the RADBMX uk event the week after,but this Demo might be a one off and not to be missed,.....it's Blyther,Wilkerson,Nourie doing the Demo,does anyone know if any other big names will be attending ???,sounds like this is gonna be a blast.

Well its official, Mike D will also be going to Germany for the Worlds.

Very cool I can't wait to see the coverage on this. I got to see the three of them while they were on Haro at the Westwood Nj clinic/show-which was the show after the Brooklyn Banks show- It was amazing. I should see if I have some of the old pictures.

Yep very cool. I only wish that they would do at least 4 shows here in the states one for the north, south, east and west then we would all have a better chance to catch one.

If they stop by Chicago maybe I'd lend them my 87 Sport and 88 Master if they pay for the cost of scratched replacement stickers! They pay if they break something too! [Like a stem...]
