As mentioned by Todd Lyons from SE, the Flick Trix line of finger BMX bikes is making a big comeback in 2009. It was my pleasure to work with this company for the past year or so in making a true and proper Hutch Trick Star representation. As you guys know, I am a very detail-oriented person, and countless e-mails and samples were reviewed and tweaked to get a fitting example of the Trick Star. Hats off to those engineers who pulled it off. Wait 'til you see these in-person. They are very cool!

(hard to see in the photo, but the blue frame is actually a true metal flake too)

Also, thanks to Juan for his assistance with the early development process.

And I sent them a set of Tuff Wheels so that they can do a good "mini" likeness of them! I'm sure that this wave of finger bikes are going to be GREAT!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Hutch one especially!

very cool John, very cool.
Now I assume you designed some way to tell these from the original Trickstar? smile.gif

When will these go on sale?
John De Bruin

I was told that Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys-R-Us will begin stocking them in June, so we could see them on the shelves in June/July. Smaller stores may also be carrying them, but I don't have a list.

This is a full-scale product-line offering, and will include an equal mix of new-school and old-school bikes, along with separate accessories. I was also told that response from the major retailers was so positive that dollars have been approprated for national television advertising as well.

THAT is sweet. I'm definitely getting one of those.

Perfect!

Something that will enhance my toy and bike collections!

Just another reason to haunt my local TRU and Target.

My son (and me, of course) will love them. I recall buying a whole lot from a LBS, but I don't have any left because son decided to play mechanic and take them apart. Pieces all over the house and over time the bikes disappeared. The same thing happens with his Tech Decks.

I got a PK Ripper this past weekend at the dew Tour in Chicago. They are everything they ever were and more! My daughter got the Mongoose bike shop set as well. I was told that they would be in stores in July

Well it's June and I'm off to the store. They look more than cool. Plus, when I tell the wifey I bought another bike, I won't be risking bodily harm.

Awesome!
