Remember the Flick Trix Finger Bikes from about 10 years ago? Well they’re baaaaaack! But this time they have a lot more style & design specific to each brand. Check out the PK Ripper Looptail frame design & Landing Gear forks! And you’ll be happy to know that they’re launching both current AND retro models. SE Bikes will have 2 colorways of the PK Ripper Looptail that will drop this summer in Toys-R-Us, Wal-Mart, Target, & toy stores nationwide. They’ll be available in the USA, Canada, France, Australia & the UK.
Pricing will be under $10 for the bike & about $15 for the Bike Shop. They should be available sometime in June
These things are gonna be cool as heck.

awsome stuff!
i found a couple old ones at a local bike shop leftover from several years ago that never sold. i bought them and i'm going to keep them in the package.
i will def be buying at least one of the new PK loop ones when they come out to save just for poops&giggles as well!
...here's what I found at the LBS...just going to hold on to these like this....prolly do way better than 401K's LOL.
just got these two...both from 1999...a DK general Lee and the other just sez Hoffman. and check out this big fancy modular bike park i picked up at another LBS. it friggin' talks! i plugged some batteries into it and it started commentating a bmx park competition lol. it even has buttons on the ramps that say cool stuff when ya depress them while trickin' on it. ...whatta charge lol!

My son and I took a late night trip to Wal-Mart last night and hit the jack-pot!!! Well, at least he did, I just got stuck with a $100+ bill! lol. But it was definately worth it! We bought one of each (I bought a couple extra just to display) And he also bought the bike shop that comes w/2 Trick Star's. Great detail!!! I just wish I had these back in the 80's! lol.

Sorry, Eastlake, Oh. But they also have them at the Mentor Wal-Mart too. We have every one except the pink TS. Looks like that's gonna be the hard one to find. The bike shop is cool because it comes with two different frame versions. We got the one w/the black and blue TS's. We've already swapped out parts on them! lol. I'll post pics over the weekend.

Was in Toys R Us not looking for the bikes because the company said late aug or sept. Then my son pointed them out to me and was so excited. I bought the bike store and one PK. I owe him about 8 or 9 bikes because I told him I'd buy him one for every race day he finishes 1st. He needs to stop winning or I'll be broke. lol.

Cool idea, but I learned long ago not to reward my kids for winning. It just makes the disapointment of not winning that much harder.
If I feel my kids tried their best, then the rewards will come.

What are these selling for in everybody's area?? I'll start.....I bought 3 of the bike shop sets at Toys R Us @ $14.99 a pop and 2 of the single bikes for $9.99 each. Wal Mart and Target don't have them here yet. I live in Upstate NY. Just wondering how the price point differs across the country. Anyone like to share??
Capt. Nemo
Aug 4 2009, 08:55 PM
Same price here in the midwest at TRU and Target.
$14.99 for the bike shops
$9.99 for the retro's
$7.99 for the NS bikes.
I haven't seen them at Wal Mart yet, but traditionaly Walmart sells this kinda stuff for a few dimes less.

I haven't made a trip to local stores yet.
I ordered one of each that the Toys R Us website offered (they didn't have the yellow GT or pink Trickstar) on Wednesday at 10:00 pm, just got them from the UPS man. I wanted a green GT, but they sent a blue one.
Heading out to the Walmart, Target, ToyRUs after dinner tonight.

They are the same price at all stores. Wal-Mart in my area (Eastlake, Oh.) was the first to get them. Then Toys R Us, then Target. Toys R Us and Target only put out a few at a time. But Wal-Mart put them ALL out! They lasted on the shelves for awhile but now they are going very quickly! But u can always ask them to scan the bar-code to see if they have anymore in back. My son and I have all of them, including the shops. I only bought one extra Blk. TS just to keep in the package. Haven't seen the pink TS yet. It's either a limited issue and they're going quick, or they will come out in another batch. Here are the color variences for what's out so far...
GT Performer: Green and Blue
Hutch Trick Star: Black, Metallic Blue, White, and Pink
Mongoose Supergoose: Silver and Red
PK Ripper: Silver, White, Blue, and Black
Now that's just the retro ones. I haven't bothered with the new school ones yet. On a side note, There is a really sweet replica of the famous Del Mar skate pool for $29 at Target and Toys R Us. I bought that tonight for my son. Good luck with the hunt!
Another thing that's cool with these things is that my son and I get to swap parts with each other! lol. The only bad thing with the shops is that u only get enough parts to build one of the bikes. So what we did was buy a couple extra new school bikes just to strip parts off of! LOL.

I haven't seen ANY of those colors yet, and I've picked quite a few TRU's clean the past week or so.
I'm thinking those colors will be in a later wave or assortment.
But it doesn't hurt to keep hunting!

I picked up these from Target and K-mart.
Also, the "silver" mongoose in the double pack, is not the same as the silver one in the single pack. It is more a nickel color. I think this is what they are tiring to portray. a nickel frame.

Anyone out there find a Pink Trick Star or Yellow Pro Performer yet?? Are those the "rare" ones or just not out yet? NONE of the WalMart stores have ANY here yet by me. Just Target and TRU
Capt. Nemo
Aug 19 2009, 09:06 AM
I've heard the pink TS may not be made because "boys don't play with pink bikes". Then again, what are the odds they will play with an OS Supergoose replica? It seems to me these "retro" bikes are aimed at the older collector, not some 10 year old kid, but whatever....
The yellow GT is on their website, but will probably be in the next assortment.
I've been hitting the local stores, Target, TRU, K-mart, Walmart almost every other day, and have so far only found what we've seen here.

I'm more of a freestyle guy, but I got the "nickel" and red Supergoose and a PK Ripper (silver w/ blue) 'cause IMO they looked the best. I gave the PK to my 3yo girl to play with---after I put the Tuffs on. Put 'em on the 'goose too! They look better.
The yellow S&M Dirtbike was calling me too...I may go back for it.

Aug 19 2009, 07:42 PM
Ha! I bought 2 of those S&M's to use for parts for my retro's! lol. Not sure about other areas, but there are only a couple of Wal-Mart's that carry any of the flick trix bikes. There are some Wal-Mart's that don't even stock them.

Stopped into a local WalMart that I have been checking every few days and they FINALLY had some!!! They only had TWO singles and they were both retro and only $9.49 which is 50 cents less than TRU and Target. ALSO.....the new batches must be out because the two I picked up were the blue Supergoose (WAY COOL knobby tires!) and a RED Trick Star!!!! Not pink....but it will do. Anyone else finding different color variants?? Happy hunting.
