A lot. I've seen those go for a couple of thousand. Now, be prepared to be yelled at by the rest of the site members for asking about the value of your bike. See the post at the top of the page.

Good luck.

The bike is in San diego but I will post pictures as son as I bring it back home. The bike is perfect as I built it back in late 86 the bike has been ridden but never raced I never raced cruiser class just 20" the frame is a 82

Yeah, Posting pics of that bad boy will probably keep you from getting throttled as bad as some who have recently asked "what is my .... worth"

Now hurry up and post some pics! diablo.gif

Funny all the guys who have been on the site since the beginning think they make all the rules for the site.I bet if I was selling you'd be the first one pm'ing with a lowball amount
bon jovi 83
probably NOT,the vets on here are real colectors and real collectors don't lowball(some will)...do your research on this and you will be pleasantly surprised at it's "worth".

as far as rules, these have been in place since the beginning..have been refreshed from time to time, that's all..

I think it's more that those who have been here a while would like Others to follow the rules.

How many times do you think someone has posted with a "what's it worth" question? Enough to have a "Sticky" thread at the top of the forums explaining an answer.

I think it's funny how many Newbies come on and think they can make their own rules.

I bet if you put it on ebay, you'd find out what the bike is worth. Give it a try.

The frequent requests for opinions on the value of a bike indicates that there is a need for such opinions. So, isn't logical that someone looking to find out the value of their "Vintage" BMX bike go to a "Vintage" BMX website? You can't kill someone for doing a google search for "Vintage BMX", finding this site, and assuming that this is the place to obtain information (including value) about their bike.

The almost angry reaction to new members is certainly a way to drive down membership, which in turns hurts the sites ability to attract advertisers.

Why would I put it on eBay to have people bid on a bike that is not for sale.that is not fair to those people. Plus I thought a fourm is a place to can ask a question from people how have the knowledge you don't . I'm not trying to make my own rules but trying to be a part of this fourm
