found this 70's model huffy bluebeard on craigslist in st. louis. just wondering if this would be a good find for the price.

sorry i'll try to figure how to link this pic. i'm not as computer literate as i thought.

1. It's generally considered verboten to ask what bikes are worth here on VBMX.

2. That's a "muscle bike", not a BMX bike, so you might be better off finding a muscle bike forum and asking there.

3. eBay completed item search brings up nothing. Google search yields a couple of posts that don't give much information about the Bluebeard, except that it's rare.

4. You should never post a live Craigslist listing to VBMX (or anywhere else), because if it's a good deal, you will get snaked.

5. It's just after 8:20pm eastern time right now, which means the Bluebeard has been on Craigslist for seven hours. True bargains on Craigslist don't last seven minutes.

6. Is it "worth" $350? Who knows? My guess is "probably not" but I've been wrong before.

7. Thanks for the post, because it's a cool bike, and we love looking at cool bikes.

if that would have been red and had swinger on the chain guard, i would have payed any amount, as that was my first bike when i was 4.

This is like the second or third time its been posted on CL. Never has come down on his asking price. So something tells me its not worth the $350.
