I can't link directly to the "lookbook" on their site but a quick look at the news section should get you there - it runs down 3 new sig frames - I'm most enticed by the Cameron Wood trails frame. (in 20.75" white please, thanks) I love that "CW" gusset.

Man, they have alot of irons on the fire (or bats in the belfry?) now - 2x .38 Specials, LTF, Dirt Bike, Stricker, Randy Brown, Cameron Wood and Tony Cardona sig frames.

Maybe i'm just old fashioned but the idea of removeable brake mounts just doesn't sit right. I'd have to bust out the loc-tite on that action.

Love that clear red.

Use of the CW logo should make things interesting around here..........

Cam has been riding the proto type frame for the last three weeks. I wanted to post a picture of it but wanted to wait for the graffics to be done. The proto frame was just raw. He works part time for me as a delivery driver. Good kid! Awesome rider and great freind.

the cam model is an "undercover race bike" IMO and I would race that bike in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!

Ya know, I don't enjoy being put in this position either.

I was going to add music on my site too...even got a verbal nod of approval from the Descendents. I suppose since Sid Vicious is dead they don't need permission to use My Way either. blink.gif

If I didn't have 2 builds going, I would build one of those. That is a really nice frame. I could tear down the retro PK and put the parts on the S&M. Hmm.

Good job guys! rolleyes.gif

FUJDB. Good on ya Chris Moeller. Well done, good use of OS on new school. Now THAT is the way to use old school influence on new school technology.

You say that like he was the first to do it. Far from it! Besides, just putting an old school logo on a new school frame is hardly considered "old school influence".

Nice frames! The Cameron Wood frame is especially nice.

BTW, in this context, S&M is not cashing in on a design. The whole core of Kappa's business model was cashing in on other designs. wink.gif

Yeah, because making 4130 double diamond frames since '87 gets S&M no credibility in the "old school" department!!!

Check out this video of Cameron Wood!

Was he cutting out CW logos on the bandsaw?

Is that true?

I wouldn't mind building a trails 20". I like jumping with my 24" BADD but I think riding a New School 20 would be fun. There is no racetrack in Hawaii right now. But, the City of Honolulu is building one. Although they are moving at "Hawaiian Time" which is a snails pace. So I have been jumping with my 24. A trails bike that would be able to get it done as a race bike too would be perfect for my wallet. You know....how our bikes were when we were kids?

Jeremy DK has a R/T model that BMX Plus built up in March's issue. R/T stands for race/trails. And they really seemed to love it at both places. So you could look into that. Or supercross now has a trails bike and also they have a new CroMo rig! So many options!

You could also look into the sunday model d, it's got a longer back end like a race bike for stability at the trails.

hi all new to the site, just trying to get back into riding ^^, im all OVER that cardona frame , in raw, it makes me drool and dream yummy things, just so simple yet yummy, i havent ridden in like 13-14 years , came across some of my old toys in basement and well, now im restoring those and i want a NEW TOY weeeeeee i love this cardona frame , just came across it in some bmx mag i got looking to see the new toys out these days and this frame was in it, i couldnt turn the page lol plus quite allot of balls on sm part to even dare to put pot leafs on it good for them!!!! just seems like a good bike<well the one ill build lol> to mess around on or cruise but im torn between this or the eastern grim 2 and just whack it out with every carbon fiber and ti piece i can find<obviously not going to be a very bomb proof bike but im 31, dont think ill be jumping off any roofs anytime soon either lol <scratches chin> well on second thought id prolly just build that bike to make little kids drool lol why have a 100 dollar bmx next to an 4000 dollar mountain bike lol, anyway really torn between this and grim 2 ti, of course cardona more practical to trick out on but............. the grim looks tight just afraid of all the snap stories ive read and no warranty kaka any thought would be nice
