I get about 25 "new member" emails a day. The user names are usually like JumpTheGateLane8 or something. Just now, I see "JohnWKer" coming in. That can only be one man.

The words themselves were cool enough, but to have been called by JK himself made by old bud Jason Ewings` day to say the least. He had won a constest to see who could color up a B&W episode of Radical Rick, and was floored that John himself called to tell him he`d won.

I have talked with John Kerr twice in my life, once at the 2-Hip contest in MN and once on the phone during the dark days of BMX ('93). Both times he was so cool to talk to and was such a nice guy... welcome John!
