I don't post many bikes these days - just look at others smile.gif

This is my Pro Racer, serial number - presumably 83-84.
OG chrome fame, forks and bars.
It's a rider.
Recently built new wheels for it and to finish of some reproduction Hutch pads in blue.
Decided to go with blue parts for something different to the normal chrome/black.
Also built with more realistic stuff instead of all Hutch parts.

I have waited posting a thread on it until I got some pads and that has takena long time.
Thanks to the new Hutch stuff I now have my blue Hutch 'ZAP Pads'.

I have a couple of repop items on it - the Hutch pads, some Hutch decals and a Helix stem.
I think the disc is a repop from Europe.
Also a 'new' black 'Willonois' brake lever cover and 'new' $2 dice valve caps.

Great bike! I love the "alternate" color choice of blue. It seems like black accents are the color of choice on most Hutches out there.

The kind of build I would have spent hours drooling over when I was 11 or 12. Nice work!

Ah yeah Tone; it's actually probably a '77.
I remember the day I got it just after Star Wars came out.
LOL

I have a very similar '85 Pro Racer with blue Kash seat, blue Hutch pads, etc. I agree on the color choice. BTW, which do OS racers prefer; the Pro Star or Pro Racer? I can't remember what the difference was- does anyone? Which model is more collectable/ value?? I would think mine could bring $1500 or so. Any thoughts? rolleyes.gif
