i order my subscription at the end of jan. and seen they have just released the #18 issue. just wondering if anyone has recieved there's or when i could expect it?

I started a thread about this a few weeks ago and it seemed like no one knew anything. I subscribed last September, got my First issue in January and now it is almost April and I don't have another issue. I am going to be real pisst if I only get 2 or 3 issues.

Don't get me wrong, the issue I got was great and I had been buying it at the news stand, but when I couldn't find it there anymore I subscribed and now I can't get it that way either.

just starting to get alittle axious, but glad to now i'm not the only one waiting. between being laid-off from const. in st. louis to the rain keeping us from racing i need some rad reading material, even if it's something that happened 5 months ago.

Im sure there was a post about this but i wanted to say:

Issue #17 was AWESOME loved to see all the olympic coverage.

I dont have a subscription I get them at the news stand because i usually buy 2 -3 copys.

i have both issues #16 & #17 couldn't be happier with the publication, but both were bought at borders bookstore. i understand they only release issues every two months but, the next issue should be for feb/march. the untimely fation they release the mag. is confusing.

i went buy borders today and they are in the store... so what gives bmxworld? why can't a subscriber get there mags sooner?

also... why is the info released so 6 months ago and not up to date info? thanx in advanced for any insite to how things work over there.

by the time a race is over its all over the internet , i dont think bmx mags will be around to much longer

for some reason i dont like reading race reports on the internet. idk why i just dont. i enjoy reading race reports and interviews in magazines more.

So why are these things getting larger???




Anyways, mag is on it's way to you guys, I've had the sneak peek now for a while....you'll like it!

Who wants to wait a month after the race happens when you can get results up to the minute and photos and videos the week following. Not to put down your profession, just an observation of the Times they are a changing.

The magazine is more than just results don't you think? Lifestyle, race shots, interviews, products, etc. You can say that about every magazine out there, not just BMX; cooking, gossip, surfing, golf....everything. Every profession has a website and also a magazine. I think there is room for both in this world. Besides, I don't like bringing my laptop on the throne with me everytime! hahaha

does the issue coming out have the NO BULL race coverage in it? I'll be making a trip to Borders if so.

I love technology and I am a self-proclaimed internet addict.......BUT there is nothing like having a crisp magazine in your hand. There are also a lot of extras that we get in addition to the racing coverage.

Totally agree, the laptop just doesn't do it for me on the throne. This type thread pops up every time between issues. I can say every issue has arrived for me. I just stopped watching the clock and enjoy it when it shows up. It's a great magazine and I will continue to subscribe.

Personally I really enjoy the pictures and the bike tech breakdown for pros.

no, not yet...so i broke out my xtra copy of the olympic edition and beban re-reading it just to get my fix. huh!

I received my copy today, I think I need to renew, and I will. Great photos, and articles, also the Off Track article by Jason Richardson was Great. The disney cup race story (5 months old), and the NBL Grands (8 months old) are old news. Like I said the pluses will get me to renew, being a every 2 month mag means some of the stories will be at least 4 months past, Hope they improve on anything over 4 months. Just my opinion. Mike

got my copy today...very pleased, ive only had the chance to flip threw... the wreck zone on the last 6 pages are sick! i hope over the next year they can bring it more up to date.

Anyone know where I can buy the magazine? I know, order a subscription right, just would be nice to walk in a store and buy it. I used to pick it up at Barnes and Nobles bookstore hmmm, or was it Borders?, anyway same thing, but they don't carry it anymore. Anyone, anyone......

The last picture in the Mag of the staats rider hitting the ejection button at the ABA grands is awesome. I was standing there with mooney when he shot that, the bike landed a few feet away from me. It was a nasty wreck, but wow was it crazy to see that close and personal. Media credentials do sometimes have their perks, LOL.

They did not have the No Bull in the mag this month but they did cover the BMX Mania camp at Warsaw.... Jeff L. made it in.
