Hey all! Just getting into BMX resto in a low budget, mid-school way. I was the kid who read every BMX mag until it was tattered, but had to make due with department store stuff. Whether it was generic mags and forks or copies of Oakley 3's, it was all good enough for me to ride from sun up to dusk. Anyway, here's my first project.

'96 DB Assault, at least I think it's a '96. Not as old-school as I would have had, but I think I did OK for $20.

Thanks. I have it all apart, and most of the parts cleaned up pretty well. The F/F is next. I have been using vinegar for rust removal with great results. Have to get a bin big enough for the frame and I'll have the whole house smelling like vinegar.

Cool. Enjoy it, 20 bucks is great!
