Actually, this is more of a clean-up than anything. I bought this ratty Race Inc. last year from a kid's dad after seeing the kid riding it down the street. Figured it was about time to do something with it...

Frame: Race Inc. Fork: I didn't bother to find out Grips: black, stylish and hard as a rock Bars: chrome and unknown Stem: imitation Tuf-Neck Wheels: Sunshine hubs with Araya 7X rims Tires: Cheng Shin rear, LHR front Seat/post: Uni or Uni-style, not sure Clamp: generic alloy Cranks: Takagi 175 Pedals: rat traps Sprocket: Sugino 42t snowflake

Here's how the bike looked when I got it, not much different really!

I am totally loving that bike. Very OG. Survivors have a certain "soul" that restored bikes lack.

The fork is a Race Inc. as well - nice find. That exact frame/fork in the anodized blue was my first real BMX bike. Unfortunately, the downtube eventually cracked in half!

Thanks for the kind words. It's not for the NOS crowd, but I think this bike has a lot of character. It's amazing how a set of worn-out knobbies and some rat traps can turn a crummy old bike into a cool survivor!

Well here's one I actually bought from Ken and another member on here now has...it had the forks with the drop outs underneath...I also like actually Land Gear forks on Race Inc frames goes as they go nicely with the beefy alloy...

Here is the kit they sold BITD

The fork might be Race inc, what did you do with the blue bars? If they were high rise Race inc. those aren't easy to come by
