I still have no idea what year this Webco frame is but I really like the way this build came together. It's my first time using Tuff wheels in a build, but they seemed to look right for this one.

Hope you guys dig it! smile.gif

Slick as a button. wink.gif I like the nickel forks...I thought they only made 'em in chrome. Are those Preston Petty or OGK grips? And the Tuffs are working for it too!

What a great BMX bike. Simple, Tough, Awesome.

I love those forks, Webco sure made some cool stuff.

I may have to get myself a Webco.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. smile.gif

The Webco forks are just raw metal. I was going to plate them but I'm starting to dig the raw metal look on a few things these days, so I just oiled them and left them bare.

Yeah Joe, those are Preston Petty grips. Good eye. As you know, they are nearly impossible to find... Probably the rarest grips I have right now.

straight forward and cleeeeeeeeeean! nice job.

Nice Webco! If that stem was the orignal one that came with that frame you could tell what year it is.

I love it, well, all except the white seat, sorry

A Brooks leather saddle would be sweet on it

Thanks bro. I hear what your saying... I knew using that seat was taking a chance and that some people wouldn't dig it. I've actually had that old Mesinger "Dragon" saddle for a while and wanted to throw it on a bike that was tough enough to not allow a white seat to look whimpy and also needed a build that was mostly black. It's actually older than the bike itself.

Anyhow, the pictures really made the seat look super clean and white, but in real life, it's actually "off - white" and slightly dirty and pretty cool looking at least IMO. A sweet vintage Brooks leather saddle would be really cool though, I agree. Certainly the full opposite of that spectrum.

Here's a better pic of how that old Mesinger really looks:

I like the seat, I think it would look pretty good on a 77 Redline with the original white Redline pads.
