I've been in this hobby for about 6 years now. For some that may seem short but for others it may seem like a long time. My search started about the time I started collecting and lately became an obsession. I just couldn't get over the fact that so much time has passed but I still didn't have this F/F. I have had all the parts to build this thing for a while. It hasn't arrived yet but I just couldn't wait any longer to share this... I just can't believe my search is almost over...

I don't want to spoil the surprise but it is OG baby blue and it ain't a 20 incher

I was just saying there could be only 2 and more then likely it would be the Floval. Of course I could tell it was a Floval from the pics. I am building one right now but it's not orginial paint I am going to have Chip do the powder after Tim does a little magic. I got the F&F off of Andy Diamond so it's been around the world and back. It has taken me about 2 yr collecting parts for it but I now have almost everything. I can't wait to see yours.

I am going with Babyblue but I am not sure on the decals yet I have Blue and gold just not sure witch I should use. I have 90% of my parts already, Well all the hard stuff. Going with Aratya 7X Blue w/Blue Bullseye Thru Bolt hubs and Blue Com III with Yellow Lable.

Mark, maybe this will give you some ideas.... I put this together last night but this is not the final build. I obviously need tubes, grips, and a chain. But I am not sure of the chainring, tuffs, of SE Bars. The SE pad does not fit on the crossbar!!!

That is one problem I am going to have to deal with also. I have a set of camo pads still in the bag but I think I will take one of my other camo cross bar pads and have it cut down 1" on both sides and restiched. I like the blue decals on it but all the old pic's show them with gold decals and it adds another color to the bike. Are your forks unstamped with no holes in the dropouts? My Frame hase the standard 3 hole design. That F&F Looks Great! I think I am going to run a set of 2nd gen box Profiles with Hutch Beartraps and a 40-18. I am not sure of what seat I am going to use, I think I am going for comfort over look because a Blue Uni with a SE Camo seat cover would look killer but I think I will go with a suede Kashimax. I still need Grips,Chain, chainring and bolts.

Congratulatons 84PK, that looks very nice and even though I'm not really a cruiser guy...flovals do it for me....

My only change would be the wheels, personally I just don't dig tuff's, not to look at but especially not to ride too much flex in the 24" versions...I think a beautiful spoked set of blue 7x's with phil hubs (or better yet your son-lites) to contrast the babe blue would be HOT! That's just my 2 cents...


In saying all that congrats on getting that grail, it is a great experience finally hunting 1 down......enjoy!

84, I think you might be right with the wheels. I was planning to bring a set of chrome 7x and polished bullseys to my LBS today for this, but I a more exotic hub might be necessary. Those son lites aren't coming off my PK so I may just need to track down another set

The pad thing really blows. There is no way I am cutting these pads. I already has to swap out the foam for something thinner on the frame. I may need to change the bars out to GTs. BITD, every bike I built ran GTs. They were always my bar of choice along with 401 cranks and dx pedals.

I think I decided on baby blue ame bubble fonts for the grips.
