Apparently so. I know (work) with the guy who bought and owned it from the first day it got to the LBS he bought it from BITD. He gave it to his brother and he just sold it to a guy in Texas for 800 bones. It has never been built up
Walter
I knew they made chrome, black, white, red, and yellow.

Id like to see a factory blue one.

Yes Andy
Jake ( Sumo) just had his finished in blue..not sure where he got the paint ID from
Sumo178
they paint was matched from pictures of a number of blue CW parts and a couple of bikes that had OG paint on them. One bike was repainted in the OG blue from (apparently) the original factory where CW's were painted. Form all the pics i have the blue i have is a pretty close match.
Sumo178
here is a link to the CW that I'm talking about. This was my main reference.

I think it looks very nice, don't get me wrong...but I have an NOS blue CW frame and it doesn't match.

Newport Powder Coating is the place that did the colored frames for CW and GT, and I believe the blue and the red were identical on both brands.
Sumo178
grrr can you post pics?

here is another reference.

JMCGT
Yes i would love to see your frame too John...

My GT blue was taken from the 82

Yes, that appears to be closer to original, but that may not be original either. I apologize for not posting a pic. It's a frameset that I would prefer to keep under wraps for the time being since I might "show" it at some point.
Sumo178
John how about just a section of the forks?

My frame looks like both the cruiser and these forks. It just depends on the light when the photo is taken.
