Can someone please do me a favor and take a measurement of the axle-to-crown length of a 26" SE Landing Gear fork? I'm looking for an actual measurement and not a weblink to what someone told their brother that their cousin overheard at a bus stop...

Can someone please measure their 26" Landing Gear fork with a tape measure?

Thanks in advance!

A2C is pretty close to 400mm give or take a few mm.

How close?

The reason I ask is because I am thinking about replacing the DMR Trailblade fork on my Atomlab 26" with a shorter fork to drop the front end a bit more and stiffen the headtube angle, but I want to be able to predict how much change will occur if I go to the Landing Gear fork...

Here's a pic of the bike... as you can see, the fork is heavily compensated to replace a suspension fork...

Thanks for your help!

Axle to top of crown (where headset race sits) is 397mm per the drawing.

I measured 396mm on mine. I have the current models. There are some taller ones out there like the ones that came on the 2007 OM Flyer.

Very cool! The DMR fork is 435mm so that will drop the front end by more than an inch...

Thanks for your help!!!

Close as you can expect on a Sunday afternoon with a tape measure, a level and a couple of beers under my belt... smile.gif

Did you ever put a set of landing gear on your Atomlab? How do you like the ride?
