I am looking for a decent quality scan of the 1982 March issue of Bicycle Motocross Action cover.

If you have that issue can you scan it please????

The one on 23 mag is too small to zoom into the parts on the GT that Greg Hill is on.

Thanks,
-Bret

Hey Tone and Brett, do you mean this one... wink.gif cool.gif
TONE
Yup...........thats it.

Great job on it. Sorry, I couldnt recall who built it.

One thing though. On Hills bike he had 2 Gt decals on the seat post.

The same bike is in a zap pad ad.

Sweet, but didn't Hill's bike have 1 piece cranks?
TONE

im sure he did on some of his rides but this particullar bike (zap pads ad) had the redlines on it. I remember even way back when and looking at that ad and being amazed he took the redline decal off. makes sense now but I didnt get it back then

Check out www.oldschoolmags.com. They have scanned in a ton of old magazines, including the pages. BMXA, BMX plus, and others. Some of the old interviews are pretty cool

Thank is Tony's bike - also in the background is his Stu Tompsen Redline replica.

He also did a Patterson replica.

Here is another pic of the GT but with slightly different parts.

One thing with Greg Hill is that his bike was changing all the time - there is no 'definitive' Greg Hill build - GT, GHP or other.

PS: even on GT he was using Star Bars (with a GT decal) and continued to use a Redline Brute stem for many years.

Hmmmm, GT with a brute stem....no wonder he liked my bike!
