Heck yes, that is sweet as!! Can we have a parts rundown? The rims look like Araya 7W's (aero's) but they are chrome, I would be curious to know if you had them re-chromed or they are factory (as I didn't think they came in chrome)...I have some aero's on my Hutch rider which I had chromed...I think they were the most underated rim BITD, they are very strong and only fractionally heavier than 7X's....
It is just a shame that profile couldn't get the finish right on the re-issue cranks...I'm glad to see someone using them, I just can't bring myself to put mine on anything, I have tried to convince myself that they are okay as is, but I'll have to get them re-chromed before I do...sorry I shouldn't have gone off topic...
beautiful bike and awesome colour, congratulations!!

hey guys, thanks for the kind words. first off, claude. when i purchased the frameset it was already painted ( not powdered ) in an exact matching judge blue. the color was one of the reasons i bought it. the pictures don't do the metalflake justice. i saw your judge you picked up and basically its the same color. also i wanted to thank you again for the DC 901 brake, as this is the one i got from you.
as far as a parts breakdown, i intentionally did'nt want to list everything as i just wanted the bike to be appreciated for what it is and not list every single item as sometimes it comes across as ego driven. basically its a mix of stuff that i wanted to use so that it can actually be ridden and also be safe. also i did'nt want to do the typical hutch clone build.
i used the retro profiles simply because they are the same style as the older ones but more structurally sound ( being newer )and gives me more piece of mind when actually riding it ( and also nobody else seems to be using them so figured i would give it a shot ). the rims are actually araya rb17's w/ bullseyes w/ thru axle bolts, again a little newer but has the old school vibe but again very sound and safe, actually i just stripped them off another bike i sold to save some cash and i also thought they looked the part. the stem is a helix tuff stem, crupi pro rounds, DC 901 caliper w/ DC lever, GT pro bars old school re powdered. and i used a peregrine seat clamp and also a peregrine stem stiffener, just for something that matched and was a little different.
last but not least, thanks to john debruin for the decals. they are perfect as usual. once again you have helped another hutch to be brought back to life again.

The only thing that I see to rework is the red hubs for blue but the red dose match the decal on the cranks just my 2cents

what better on a beautiful day than to break out the hutch for its first ride.
Amen to that.
And I really like this build. The white seat & bars together with the red hubs looks awesome with the blue frameset. Very cool combo.

Very nice build. The color scheme is excellent. Hutch always had the coolest looking candy paint.

You can ride this one. Retro cranks, so no worries there. Also not an original Pro Racer color so have at it. Personally, if I were still into Hutch, I would have tried to restore it to early OG goodness, but I guess that is just me. Call me a purest. With JDB remaking all the old stuff including stadium plates I guess my point in moot anyhow.

Heck yes, I ride my Pro Racer, just about everyday...race it whenever I can get a chance...I just can't get into the new school stuff...setting up a Pro Racer is easy, long stem (DK XXL or Hutch Pro), 2 'n' 1 and a big set of bars...plenty of room. I'm 6' and it works a treat!!....
oh on a side note, I wasn't trying to being elitest, just curious about your wicked part selection...perfect...
