Here's an early SoCal frame..1977 CYC STORMER BMX

Cool frame, is that date stamp factory or did someone add that?

I wonder what happened to the ones BMXA used in the pikes peak article back 78? they had that funky sprocket guard...
The Red Baron
It must have been about a year or so ago that one of those CYCs with the sprocket guard showed up.

The guy who bought all the old Ralphs Bike Shop inventory got one with the sale.

I remember doing close up scans of the pics in BMXA and comparing them to his frame. They were different.

There must have been more than just those two.

From what I remember, those were the only two made.

Here's my '76. It will probably be built in 2010. Just not enough time this year.

Wow guys! This is my 1st post I dug out my CYC Stormer from my moms storage. My frame is a 77' and has the date stamp 09-06-77 #001995. Had it since day 1. Survivor Bike in good shape. I broke it down last weekend and will post my story with pics soon. Chrome frame with Stomer MXR decals. blk RedLine forks. gold stem with V-bars. 1pc crank with quick change sprocket. & blue tuff wheels. be patient with me as I'm new to this but will clean this baby up to be a rider.
