I'd most likely buy a 20" depending on the final design.

Thanks for your efforts, Mark.

I know this is pushing the envelope, but I would love to see 16", 26" and 29" Azusa framesets made...

Ditto. At least a 26".
Code4130
I want one just like the white ones above. With a fork.

Any news updates?
jipster43
I'm beginning to earmark parts for a new Azusa. And if I haven't already mentioned it, I'm interested in the 20".

Hello. I am interested in at least two 20" frame and fork sets for myself. I also have a friend who owns a bike shop and is interested in becoming a dealer. Please give us an update as soon as you can. Thanks Todd. Everyone really appreciates what you are doing for BMX. Keep up the good work!!! Nascar

Any updates on this?

OK, the original Azusas kicked azz, but I think it would have been worth paying more to have them made out of quality butted steel so they weren't such tanks. Looked hot though:

My Azusa

Also--sorry--but grown men, and especially grown men of my size (6'2") just look dorky on 20inchers. 24incher, or better yet, 26inchers are a must. I'd prolly be down for a 26incher, but only if it were made of a quality, modern steel tubing.

Todd,

I may be interested in a 24"....However, a 26" would make me buy one right now.

Just a thought....Is it worth asking Jim if he would put his name on them this time? I remember him commenting how nice they were the first time....just a thought!?!

I'm down for a 24 or 26. Could use forks and bars, too. Preferably chrome. Todd, how much of this is reality or wishful thinking?
TuRBo Todd Britton
I wouldn't call it wishful thinking, seeing as I already did it once back in '02. I'll write more when I know more, but at last check, some tubing samples were on the way for the prototype.
finallyracing
How many of the Azusa stems were made and are those being considered again?
TuRBo Todd Britton
I can't remember exactly. I think I made 20... Haven't thought about doing more of those at the moment. Anything's possible.
jipster43
Thanks Todd! Do you remember how much the original Azusa 20"ers weighed?

Mucho Gracias!

TuRBo Todd Britton
I think 5lbs for the frame. New ones will be lighter.
GR8BNDINI
After reading this thread a few times, I want a 24".

I've got stickers and t-shirts to go with them, so why not frames?! They would have some tweaks that would make it easy to tell apart from the originals we did in 2002.

Todd, I'm still interested. Any updates? Thank you.
nostagia
I would like a 24
b3rtha
I'd want a 24".

Todd, it's been a month. Any new word?
TuRBo Todd Britton
Prototype is in the works. Tubing sample looked correct, so things are in motion. Wish I could tell you more. Hold tight.
finallyracing
I will be holding tight.
buzooti
24" frameset, please.
finallyracing
Still holding tight.
GaryKubisch
Very glad I found this.....I heard there may be more Azusa's in the works.
What will be the availability for a 20" w/ the AP forks?
Any chance of a raw set for the buyer to finish?
Any dimensions/angles?
Euro BB?
EMilner
any chance of 26" frame/fork?
Chris S
I would be very interested in a 26" if they were to happen.
kellyt.b.
I would be interested if they came with a 22" top tube. Like 21 7/8" on the 20 and 22.5 on the 24.

Any updates?

+1

I'd take a 24
TuRBo Todd Britton
I haven't forgotten. Now that summer's over I can hopefully get somewhere with round II...
seracingman
Tod I need a 26"
Walter
Id take a 24' but would take two 26"
TuRBo Todd Britton
When guys mention a 26", do you want a tall, oldschool, level (roughly) toptube? Or do you want a low-profile 26" to actually ride and jump?
Woody's Hot Rods
Make a 26 that is the same flavor as the first run Azusa 24's. I think the chromo 26 that Supercross made had a nice look to it.
finallyracing
You wouldn't see me racing it. Just a nice lazy street cruiser for me.
