Looking for ideas to build some of my own....maybe save a few bucks and put it towards my builds.

On a side note, yes, I've seen the green one made out of the back half of a Haro. Very cool, but I feel for the rest of the bike.
SouthSideSS
Good topic!!! Ive seen alot made out of PVC at the tracks
aluv
Thanks, I wasn't sure where to post this to get the best responses.

No pics worried_anim.gif Give us some ideas besides PVC...

I make my own stands but don't have any good pics right at the moment. I'll take a few pics tomorrow at work.

Heres a few pics I promised. The stands I've made are simple and inexpensive to make. I can make about 3 for 20 beans. As you can see I still need to finish painting them to match the bike they go with. Each stand is made to a specific bike since all the frames are different.

If anyone is interested in more details let me know and I'd be happy to share.

very cool, ever sold any?
SouthSideSS
I guess not... I would pay you 20 dollars each with shipping, and I will give you the measurements

Yeah, I bet there are a lot of great ones out there and I'm sure some members could sell some! I'd be interested in the right stand for me.

I made this one for Rockford. People seemed to dig it. I'm sure some will "bar-row" the idea in the future! (Ha! Terrible joke I know...)
MadCowboy
hey thats sweet...but i could use those bars sad.gif j/k

I think its bmxaddicts that used the rear triangle of a Hutch for the stand on one their Hutch's...that was pretty cool.

I "looped" the open ends after this pic was taken.
You can adjusts measurements for your bike. I use this one for my 24".

Hey Rusty - as you can see my welding skills are far from desirable and I've never considered selling them but stay tuned I am working on something, I'll let everyone know if it pans out.

I know you guys are serious about your bike stands. Here's mine - works pretty good unless it gets windy or until somebody needs a boost and drinks the bike stand contents.
