Scorpion's mahlon abrams use to ride for MT. They made some decent bikes

I think I read that MT means made in Taiwan?

BMXA did a test on the top o' the line one with Robby Rupe when he rode for them. That model was nicer than an entry level bike.

MT stood for Ming Tien , another huge oriental manufacturer like Tange, Akisu, Shimano, etc...
They made pretty decent stuff, for the most part.

MT had a factory team in 1984. Their riders were Robby Rupe and Mahlon Abrams.

about 2 years ago we had a thread that I was the main contributer to. We had tons o photos. have to dig around. I myself have a JuniorFox built up for my kids.

Here is my Aeropro frameset. It's in really good shape, still has the original headset with the matching prism stripe on the top race. I also have a bent Micro Fox (12") frameset.

It was kinda looked on as entry level but from a real race bike point of view. They were actually good bikes and a great value. They just didnt get the love the deserved with so many core brands toc ompete against. But dollar for dollar they made some of the best complete bikes available at the time. Nice find.
