these are late pedals and will not have the brown or green bearings, which are the early american made pedals.

So, you were able to get a pair from this batch to confirm? Thanks, just wanted to know as I am after a pair of NOS brown bearing Hutch Pedals....

I've got a set of Hutch Pedals with green bearings...I'm not sure of the era change...but I think as previously stated the green and brown where the USA made items and the black was Tiawanese..

These have no bearing color... They are plain steel...

Regarding bearings...the question is would you know the difference between a set of 1983 USA made pedals and a set of 1987 pedals made overseas if they both had bearings with brown seals?

I doubt it.
