i'm trying to figure out how to ask my old neighbor who used to have a us made trick star in chrome from when we were kids last i knew he still had it as a matter of fact i spoke with him about it in the fall of 08 and he was still pretty sure that it was still in the shed ! he doesn't live there anymore and when i asked him about it years ago he said he gave it to his nephew (who is now 18+ that doesn't ride it either ) the grandmother still lives there and i'm trying to find out if it is still there and if there is a way to purchase it without paying a fortune ! any advice (short of stealing it ! ) NO I WOULDN"T CONSIDER THAT !!!!!

Worst they say is no. Go ask, also it helps if you mention the memories and how you will restore it and all that. If they think your gonna flip it or if its about the money, you may lose out.
I have had good success that way.

spoke with the grandma and she thinks it might have been thrown out ! but she will follow up with me she said if it's still there i can have it
