I had one when I was 9 in 82 but don't have any pictures. I'm getting another one and would like some reference pics. Mine was yellow with the "good" blue anno parts. Dia-compe brakes, sugino gt 3 piece cranks, blue anno araya rims. I hope somebody can help me out. Also, the gusset on mine had the uneven rectangle hole and not the round one.
Mr. Clean
ok guys, somebody has to have a pic of one of these somewhere. I had a pic of me on mine but I cant find it. Help me out guys.

sorry I know it's sad but this is all I got

Mr. Clean
that's great. I still haven't seen anyone who has the same bike I had. Mine had the more rectangle hole in the gusset. But I know someday I'll see a pic of the kind I had.

Here's one that I sold on eBay a while back.

Broke, thats a Pro Thunder Pro 4, they were pretty cool low end bikes, came stock with yellow plastic mags, a double clamp stem and blue pads...I'm thinking that style frame was 81 to 83 before Huffy went to a gussetless fat tube "think Stu's model" frame in 84.

I believe the square gusset frames were earlier, maybe 79-80...whats cool about these gusseted Huffys is the welded dropouts as opposed to the later fat tubes nasty stamped and spot welded drops.

Those 2 speeds were cool, a couple of my buds rocked them bitd, they came stock with a grip shift and Arayas...Funny thing about those is i've seen the 2 speeds come with 2 different style frames, most of the ones I've seen have the cool gusseted frame like the one Dave has pictured, but I've also see them with a much less desireable shorter thin tube gussetless frame that was generally reserved for the very low end Huffys.

Someone has got to have some old Huffy brochures, or some old dept store catalog ads with all the old Huffys...that would be cool to see !

I actually have a Pro Thunder build in progress...
Mr. Clean
Hey Dave, did you sell that to someone in NC? I just got one identical to it except they robbed the brakes and wheels off of it. I'm gonna try to build it up like the one I had. Yellow with blue anno parts. Keep them comin guys.
Mr. Clean
come on guys, anymore pics out there. I know there's gotta be some somewhere.

Is this the one? I found this Huffy ad in the October 1981 issue of BMXA.

Nope. Right color but wrong frame and components.
Mr. Clean
I know I'm probably shooting for the stars, but I need a set of blue decals for it. Anybody got any?
