I have a Race Inc. crusier that I want some information on. I know the serial numbers do not help much but it is RA54207. I bought the bike complete in 85 or 86 from Don's Bicycle's in Coralville, Iowa mail order. I am going to be selling this in the future and want to know the year and any other info the experts on this can give me. Here are some pictures.Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment

Nice!

Post it in the for sale section and let the loud screaming sword fight begin!

Yeah, I kind of thought that would happen. The bike just has a few nicks here and there and I only raced it twice before I quit. Anybody with any info. on the frame and fork??

I believe cruisers were only made around 83/84 time frame. Serial number means nothing on RI's.

Is that a modified? Where do you run? Grandview?

<-- sprint car fanatic. Season opens tomorrow in floriduh. Go Posse (except Fred Rahmer)!

Yes that is a big block modified that I drive for someone else. That is from US-13 in Delaware. I have my own small block car that I race at Grandview & Big Diamond and other tracks. I race about 50 shows a year. I wish I was in Florida for the races, my friend works for Penske Shocks and left Sunday for all the short track races and will not be back until Feb. 21., racing or testing every single night.

Cool, do you ever run at Williams Grove or Port Royal? I've only seen Big block modified once and it was a special show at the Grove either last year or the year before.

I raced a small block at the Grove twice about 8-10 years ago. I was at the last big block race there working for Jimmy Horton.
