JJ, yeah that sure was Mansfield. I think it was the first big jump on the first straight. I remember if you came out of the frist turn too wide there was a friggin tree right there, you would clip your bars on it if you wernt careful.

Thanks MXER746. Good times for sure.

Thanks Steve!

What was the story behind the World Class team?
I know Eddie Siegmund was on there for a short period; and didn't they have a top AA like Tommy Brackens or somebody like that?

Great pics Mike.

I don't totally know the story behind World Class but I was part of the team after leaving GT.

Don Crupi was the teammanager and the Crupi's were my families best friends in the sport so it made it easy to go under his wing.

Siegmund.... Eddie was on for a very short time. His dad passed away and he quit the sport mid season.

I know there were more but that's all I am remembering now.

I had heard rumors that the funds for the team had something to do with drugs but I was never exposed to it. Sarah the team owner had a son that raced in the novice class and she wanted to start a team. Tommy was let go from GT and I quit. All 3 of us (Brackens, Edwards and Crupi) signed on at the Christmas Classic.
