Roseville's 4th Annual "ROCKFORD of the WEST" Vintage BMX swap & show + SIDEHACK RACE is happening on the 4th of July this year!
WHERE: Oak Creek BMX in Roseville, CA. - held in conjunction with the ABA Summer Nationals.
Vintage Bike registration begins at 7am, Saturday morning - cost is $1.00 per bike (with all proceeds covering the Awards Dinner, festivities & food).
Throughout the day, riders, spectators and fellow collectors will be voting for their favorite bikes in the following categories:
- Best of Show
- Best 70s Bike
- Best 80s Bike
- Best Freestyle Bike
- Best MonoShock
- Best 26 Cruiser
- Best 24 Cruiser
- Best 16 Pit Bike
AWARDS: Later that night (approx. 7:00pm) PATRIOT BIKE SHOP [the unofficial home of the first few ABA BMX Museums] will play host for the Awards Banquet.
Top-5 finalists of each of the 8 categories will be announced in Academy-Awards fashion, with envelopes ripped open by Nor Cal BMX legends and ABA Hall of Famers. Winners will be handed a customized Redline FLIGHT Crank trophy, to add to their collection.
Special Guests to be announced - working on having the "Human Dragster" Tommy Brackens, as this years' honoree.
