Very, very cool. Adjust the seat so that the nose is up a bit and you'll be set. Thanks for posting.

Great job, love the red!!!!

If you get the chance to put a Torker MX (pre-1983) headtube sticker it on it that would be icing on the cake.

Torkers, well what can you say to_take_umbrage.gif I'm sorry some CL or EBay shuckster talked you into that poor thing. Tell you what, being the nice guy that I am, I'll take that thing off your hands before you crack that gusset. I'd hate to see you hurt yourself. I promise to keep it from hurting anyone negative.gif Heck, I'll even pay thee shipping.

Very cool color.

Does it have the machined head tube? If so, you have the right head tube and seat tube stickers. Down tube should be the same family. I'm curious, does it have a machined BB shell, too?

What's the serial number?

Nice job.

I'm not aware that Skyway Tuff wheels were available for 24" cruisers in 1982.

Here's my 24" Torker cruiser taking a moto win at 1982 NBL Grands at South Park, Pittsburgh lifted from Mark Lopez's vid. I was the only person in the 16-24 cruiser main at that race on a Torker 24" cruiser. I liked it a lot.

1983

The classic Torker design was 1978 - 1982. 77's had the forward facing dropouts then in '78 the geometry was changed for a Lower Profile model, LPX vs. the '77 large MX design. A complete redesign was started in 1983 and released late that year into '84 where things came to a screeching halt.

That'll work.......very sweet.

Hows about this one? OG stickers. Made Oct. 1982. Pre-machined headtube. These headbadges were a transitional type used in late 1982

Later models with the machined headtube had the later stickers like yours. A friend of mine has a 340 and it has OG stickers and machined headtube like yours appears to have. It was made in Jan. 1983.

Send me your serial number and I'll tell you when it was made.
