I copied both of those pics off of this site in years past.

The top one was labeled "VanderTablehop" and just blows me away. I'm looking for a jump... But there isn't one. Just bunny hopped into a tabletop.. Awesome.

This is a great shot of Woody getting sick!

That Vander pic came from the first issue of Freestylin'. What makes it more amazing is I think he is on a Mag Scrambler or some sort of older gusseted Schwinn. Thos are not light bikes.

Yeah everytime I look at that pic it just blows my mind! TIMELESS shot indded. There's a Hawaii rider who would tabletop from just bunnyhopping in the 70's. He would just freak me out when he did it. He is an active vintage member that has the screen name "perfectnut". He posts some of the most amazing OG RAD shots on the all things Hawaiian thread.

Pete,

That last shot you posted! Dang thats the sh_t right there! The good old days when we ran what we got.

That photo of Stu is from the Silverdome. They had a pro jumping contest. I remember Harry Leary throwing some killer renditions of his signiture move earning himself the cover of BMXA doing a Leary at the dome.

Early huge air...

Tinker has style...

Dude jumping the bug is still-supa-fast racer from Rock Springs, Wyoming, Beau Mahaffey -- old friend of bnd's. Style for miles!

Love this pic of Richie. Cop an eyeful of the gearing!

I was thinking about this pic last night for some reason while bouncing around on different BMX websites. I remember staring at that pic when I was a kid. My best bud Rockne even called me up about it BITD. He had just picked up the BMXA and was asking if I saw the pic of Richie Anderson in it.

Thanks for posting it!

Does anybody have the mid-Eighties BMXA full page shot of Mike Miranda jumping out of "the U" on a pink Hutch? I had it on my bedroom wall for years. Or if you can tell me which issue it was in that would be great too.

Gest shots guys, but where is Windy's photo of Lund on that monoshock? In a hundred years from now, if you had to explain BMX to someone, that one photo would do it.

Or maybe this one.

Heres one of my buddy Rockne Tang. This was at our favorite place on earth in the 70's - Triangle Park in Palolo Valley on the island of Oahu. Check out the Rubbah Slippaz or as you mainlanders like to call them - flip flops. smile.gif

That is an amazing pic Jeremy... Too cool. wink.gif

Someone asked about Windy Osborn's classic pic of Thom Lund on the "Boinger"...

Windy herself...

A couple more of Thom and that famous Wayne King Monoshock (which is currently for sale):

I believe Thom split the frame in half at some point, thus you see the changes like the front triangle that was redone...

COASTY
I can't believe Thom would ever sell that. No way!
