He almost makes the last one.
Feel sorry for him but weve all been there.
Thats how we all learned, part of the game I suppose.
Anyway, he CAN jump!

Dang!!! Where do you find this stuff Tone? That is too cool. It's so deja vu for me. I was so into ramp jumping BITD, but never as young as that! He's got great style! He's good!
Glad he wasn't too hurt at the end... One of my last big street ramp mishaps left me with part of my clavicle piercing through the skin. Heavy compound fracture. Gross...

WOW! That''s great, made me think back to the day when I was his age and that happened to me. I think most of us went through that at that age when we first started to jump.
Ken Pliska, how ya doing? It's been a long time!

I've seen that vid before.
I swear, if that kid was on a stingray, wearing some oversize bowling ball open-face motorcycle helmet, and had a garbage bag strapped around his neck like an Evel Knievel cape, it would be 1976 all over again. Even the way the other kids treated him (he actually could have been really hurt).
Major flashback!

My very first off road gig on a bike was jumping garbage cans in the park for money when I was 10. First on my Schwinn Varsity, then on my Schwinn Comp Scrambler. $1 per can and then we stated jumping picnic tables and garbage cans (it was a killer uphill jump after jamming downhill to hit it). That kid would have flown on it

Mike Auman! Where have you been? Shall we take some laps at Rockford this year?

reminds me of when I stupid enough to construct a ramp using car tires to support the wood plank. I didn't under the rebound qualities of rubber until I crashed. I used bricks next time to build a ramp.
That kid is very smooth for his age., but would not let my kid jump a dept store Huffy like that. For the same reason I don't like it when my neighbors kids jump my son's ramp with their cheap bikes.

Yup, I was about his age when a went backwards on the landing and knocked the wind out of me. Scared me more than it hurt.

Had a buddy break his tail bone while we were in High School doing the same thing. Flipped OTB and landed on his tail bone. To this day he still walks funny.

I remember jumping over all the kids and their bikes from my neighbourhood. I had a jump about 2 ft high and sailed for miles. Ah those were the good times.
