tuff neck stem
tech plate
oakley grips
flight cranks
suntour pedals
7c rims with bullseye hubs 1st gen
mx 1000 brakes with terry cable
definately my best bike to ride..

Nice, I built one close to that. There nothing that handled like a GT. They always and still have it right.


Question though-
The 83's had the Nora cup decal, are you sure its an 82? Just curious. Some say there were Nora 82's.

yes sure mate..I just like the nora cup sticker..sort of belongs on the 82 i reakon..
Its a bit like the 84 bars on an 82 frame...for me its, what i like and what i can find too....Hard to find good condition uncut early GT bars..
Was your GT blue Brad??

Thanks Stu, think you know how much i loved the look of your GT when i came over...Knew straight away to sort my 83 out, but went with the 82 instead..
I will change up a phil spider and Kashi seat one day...no hurry as she still rides the same...

damn, I swear GT's have to be the sweetest rides on the planet, simple, yet advanced, light, yet strong...and talk about angles, my wifes getting jelous...;-)

I asked you about the wheels, think they were Abrosi's with Phils.. and you commented on my pale blue 81 on the museum..

Looks like a spa, its a Plunge pool...(small pool) and the rocks are the waterfall..

I miss that bike. It wasn't quite finished with it yet, but opportunity knocks. I wanted to get that hop out the front rim but never got around to trying and I don't think it was possible (totally). The BB cups went in tough to press in. Other than that the bike turned out pretty nice. Those were real decals too.
