If I was building and had the funds, I'd use the Ambrosio on Bullseyes. Mostly because, that was my favorite wheel combo back in the day.

I think the Ambrossio's are sweet and certainly more exclusive than 7X's...I also ran them BITD, but I had them laced to Campagnolo's....

If you can find some ProClass rims in great shape with the right colore insert that you need laced to Bullseye hubs, I can't see where you could go wrong. Ambrosio would be cool too

Ya, I always felt my polished Bullseyes I have where going to be laced to the Pro Class rims, and after this poll, looks like thats happening.

I'd go for the combination of chrome Araya 7X rims, double-butted stainless spokes, and low-flange silver Suzue sealed-bearing hubs. Not particularly exotic, but functional and timeless.

Ambrossio's for sure! I ran them back in the day with Bullseye also. I still have the rims but the hubs are long gone. Scott

Abros on 1st gen high flange phils...
although if you found any of the above in your local bike shop, you would fall over..
