I was kicking around in my basement and found a real cool catalog I sent for back in 1986. Kirk Road Bike UK made and designed. I was road racing and dreamed of having one of these wild rides. I will scan and post the catalog. Magnesium Frame .Crazy design showing bike being run over by a Mercedes No Frame Bend or damage. Does anyone remember these things ?

didn't have one, myself (almost), but we sold 1 or 2 of them.

haven't seen one since then.
they weren't that expensive (in hindsight)...like $1000-1200 retail, i think. they were more than anything else at the time (which was still mostly lugged steel), but not bad for what it was.
the rep came thru a few times a year for 2-3 years. i don't know why i never got one. he offered me a great shop deal.
the first time he came by he had a beat demo frame that he actually backed over out in the lot. it was all scratched up, but not bent!
