Just curious - I can't remember who the #3 guy on the right is! Paul Prestis maybe? Anyone from my class still haunting the boards? I know you're out there somewhere!
I think it's (L to R) #112 -not sure, Eddie Siegmund, Jason Wharton, #5 - Wayne something?, Me, and the mystery guy. The race was North Bergen NJ in about '82.

John you look hella fast in that pic. Good enough for the old magazines. I knew you were fast but pulling Jason Wharton, wow. If you have the 80 points it may be a kid that ended #14. I gave him my number plate in 81 since that was my NBL number and I quit racing NBL. I think he rode for Pedaler's East and he was about same age. LOL unamed mystery rider, NOT Rich Farside. Cant make out the uniform is that Tahoe? Post more of your dads pics from 81 Please with sugar and comp 3's on top.

Yeah that was some nasty competition in that shot! I must have eaten twice as many donuts that morning or something...Wharton was pretty fast but Eddie Siegmund on a good day was hell on wheels. He was older than me so that's my excuse! Def. not Farside - He would have been over the finish line and half asleep by the time we made the first turn. I am working on getting some pics out - takes forever to scan them! I swear I will though

Im almost certain upon looking closer #3 is a Factory Sekai rider. Most of them came out of the Northwest.

It wont let me edit the above post sorry for posting back to back. I'm thinking the rider was Factory Sekai rider "Bad" Brad Fransisco from Washington. The picture above was Braddock but not 82, but the 83 ABA Nationals?
I see in 82 they had Max leathers. I also noticed they seemed to change uniforms almsot every year. So that's my guess and I'm sticking too it. Also Brad and the Sekai team raced almost, if not entirely, ABA.
