After whispering sweet nothings & reminiscing with this guy about BITD's, I was set to go pick up the 2, yes that's right 2!, 1979 Mongoose bikes complete with MotoMags that I found on the S.F. CL. To top it off, he had 2 additional Mongoose frames. Attempted to get them after work Saturday night, but was not trying to turn the guy off to my game so wasn't pushing too hard. Then someone apparently calls him at 7am! Sunday & swoops in & gaffles them for the nice price of $250! OUch! That's a shot to the testes.

That's the way it goes, & writing this is kinda cathartic, so...
