So this racer i knew bitd had a situation at the state finals in his main event .Seems a fellow arch rival did the inside dive and full on ran the guy leading the main over the second turn .The rider that crashed went up to protest the crash and had to protest the boys dad who caused the crash in the first place ...Of coarse the dad seen nothing ..Cost the rider a state #1

A little later on someone appraoched the rider who got crashed and said a official at a different section of the track seen the inccedent and wrote it down and to go protest ..He did but the state commish /t-o didnt uppold the protest ..

Also the state commish, dirty rider, dirty riders dad/turnmarshall all rode or had kids on the same team ...

This happened in the 80's

I was involved in this story personally and i dont have a agenda[and no hard feelings today] just had my memory jarred and wondered what any of you thought /what woulda happened if this was a senario at todays races?

Seems like the person to be making the decision is the state referee. If this was an nbl race.

Nothing, if the rider #1 left the door open and rider #2 had room to get under him, then its fair game.

Note: while I dont agree, this is the way it stands.

Ive seen way lesser intentional fouls called and set back to last then this .And even one this year at kettering was called by the t-o as it happened on the microphone [the t-o is also the announcer-never seen this happen]

DONT STOP BELIEVING ......THE WHEELS IN THE SKY KEEP ON TURNING ...

It was the dad corner marshall that threw me for a loop ...
And it was settled at a double points race the following weekend ,seems the nbl ref thought it wasnt racing when it was flipped around and he was the rider over the turn [i got threatened to be suspended imagine that !]Never had a issue with him again !
