Anyone have any?

There is a team good shot of him when he was on VDC, I think? Mid 80s. I don't have a copy of it but someone will.

There's a team one in one of the USBA newspapers from a race in San Diego. I'll try to find it this weekend if nobody posts it.

I have a sweet MC shot in his VDC uni from BITD. It's framed in my office. He signed it at the A-1 SX race one year. It was funny. I stood in the long autograph line. When it got to be my turn he stopped looked at the pic, invited me back and wanted to know all about the pic. He was super stoked and even walked it around showing it to everyone in the Yamaha pits. It was pretty funny.

I have that USBA newspaper pic of Jeremy McGrath too.
If I find it I'll scan it and post it.

That was my last race in 1985.
I quit racing for 21 years after that.

You know your old when you say you haven't raced for 21yrs tongue.gif Put that in the "you know your old thread".

BTW, come visit the MN thread "Mr. Distant" smile.gif

Actually I use to know Jerm back in the late 80's- early 90's before and as things were taking off for him. My Cousin and I lived in Palm-Caster in the 14-Valley. MY Cousin is friends with Kyle Lewis, so that's the connection... Great, friendly down to earth guy. We had allot to talk about with bmx past. Jimmy Button was around as well...kinda tall for a moto guy, but really cool too. Anyway..

Sorry, to many years past and I'm an F1 fan and keep thinking Jensen Button.

I fixed it... thanks^^

Didn't he get hurt (back issues?)

Here's one from last year. I helped Wolfgang Puck set up his booth at a large marketing meeting. He cooked me a cheeseburger for helping him. Jeremy saw mine and asked me where I got it. So I had Wolfgang set one up for Jeremy. JMcG and I talked about BMX for a long time. He said it was his "first love". I got a lot of cool swag from him and a job offer from Monster. It was a good time. I also got to meet Mario Andretti.

Pic from the setup day:

A picture from the last day right before we torn everything down (and yes....I usually have a cheesy smile on my chubby face):
