This is my first post. I came across this website last week and can't stop reading all the great stories from back in the day.

I was curious if anyone here remembers Endo Products? They made BMX clothing in the early days. My parents owned this company from approximately 1977-1986. We were primarily based out of Visalia California and raced everywhere throughout California, both southern and northern. For two years (1980-81) we were based out of the Chandler/Mesa/Phoenix area. We also toured across the country quite a bit, including ABA's summer tours in AZ, NM, TX, and OK.

I raced for Endo my entire racing career. I had many factory co-sponsorships, but I could never leave my parent's company. My brother however, did race for several factory teams.

I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone remembered the company, my parents, my brother or myself.

BTW: my name is Scott (a.k.a. Scooter)

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I do remember endo products. If you have any pictures of products or racing, post them. We all love to ride our bikes down memory lane.

I figure our brother is Chuck Mikel?
I remember him placing well at nationals often in the early 80's.
I remember Endo as well.
Always associated Endo with the ABA because of the Arizona connection.
You guys also sponsored (I believe) Eric Garces when he didn't ride for Red Line.
Mikel
Yes, my brother's name is Chuck Mikel. That is great that you remember him.

There was an ABA/Endo connection at one time and that is why we were in Arizona for a couple of years.

Eric did start out racing for Endo. I believe he moved on to Redline after he made a name for himself outside of Arizona.

Unfortunately I don't have any BMX memorabilia, but I will be seeing my mother at Christmas to see if she kept anything.

Somewhere in my magazines, I have a full page photo of Eric Garces
in an Endo uniform racing at (I believe) Chandler, Az.
Mikel
That would be a great picture. I look forward to your post.

Chandler...that was a great track. I still have two plastic tops on my bottom front teeth from wrecking on that step-jump just before the third turn.

Scott,
How old is Chuck? I think he's close to my age. I'm 42, born in 68'.
Think Chuck is a year younger than me or close. How old are you?
No luck finding that Eric Garcez on Endo pic.
