Hey guys, kinda new here. I just got some parts I want chromed. I know it's not cheap. But I'd like a ncie bang for my buck. I actually used teh search function (amazing on forums eh lol?) and found threads from 2007 so I fig'd I'd ask for current recommendations not knowing if those places are still around. I did record all the places listed and one place I saw w good references and results was Streamwood Plating? I think out of Streamwood IL (I did a google search on Streamwood Plating and came up w that)

I'm looking to do some forks and bars, possibly crank arms. Any suggestions on chromers? Thx in advance!

Best,

Not sure where you live but there is a guy here in Nashville who is one of the best platers in the country. He does a ton of stuff for Orange County Choppers also. My pictures of his work are all gone because of a meltdown with the image hosting service here, but just PM me and I can give you all the info. He does incredible Hexavalent Chrome, Bright Nickel and Polished Copper with great attention to detail including keeping welds and serial numbers in tact... He's the real deal!
