I like the blue one a lot better than the woodgrain. Woodgrain is ugly to me. And I don't know about the front breaks either. Gotta take those off. And of course change out parts-AGAIN! But this team blue OM is the one to get!

I'd love to see a real photo of the woodgrain....I bet the SE website or the catalog don't do it any justice and that it looks way more rad in person.

My SE dealer has them on order. He tends to wait until he has a bunch of bikes waiting before he tell's SE to ship them out so he can save on shipping.
So, no, I haven't picked mine up yet.
My next project will be the '09 24" Quad. I'm hoping to have it done before the Indiana gathering.

Here is the last one I'm showing. I took these to show TL how good the graphics looked on the bike. Oh, everything looked great on the whole bike. The one sample we had was bought by a guy who works at my LBS. He has it hanging in the shop and he said EVERYBODY asks about it.

Did SE switch from euro to American BB on the OM Flyer for '09?

Picked mine up today - very nice build quality and an aweswome bike to ride, I'm especially impressed with the 48 spline cranks which are a huge improvement compared to those pinch bolt cranks that have been offered previously and yes it's a US BB. I noticed on the SE website the parts list has a cassette hub - mine has a screw-on freewheel. Anyone else get theirs with a freewheel?
I'll post more pics when I've done some mods - planning on swapping out the bars for S&M cruiser race bars, a profile XXL stem and maybe the pedals....

Another example of how much better the actual bike looks compared to the SE website photos. The blue/brown looks KILLER!
I just got an e-mail from my SE dealer. My woodgrain OM is in and ready for pick-up! Whoo-hoo!

Ah, thanks for pointing out the mistake on the SE site about the casette. Yes, it should be a freewheel listed. I have sent an e-mail to our website peeps to update it.
I got my woodgrain OM the day before I left to come over here to Asia. I took it out of the box to peep it, but haven't built it up yet. You can bet that it'll be the 1st thing on my list when I get home next week.
Oh, and you guys are gonna super trip out when you see some of the new bikes & color plans we've got in store for 2010.

SE also listed cassette freeewheel for there 08 model too but it was a screw on freewheel. Beautiful ride thpugh! Love this colorway. Gotta take those front breaks off and it will be a lot sweeter. Switch to black tires too!

Made a few changes to mine now - bars are S&M race cruiser bars, ODI rogue grips, Profile XXL stem, Atomlab aircorp pedals and camo pads. I swapped out the seat for a brown SE sleek seat - might save the retro seat for another project.
Took some pics with the OM's little brother too:

I'm slowly giving mine an old school flavor................brown suede seat, Knight(Profile replica) spider, anno chainring bolts, flipped stem, anno old school Victor (DX copy) pedals, SE cruiser bars, Ame's, etc....
I'll be switching more parts soon.
