I'm in for 2 days 36-40 cruiser. I made a registered for the Motel 6 today....not bad for $35.99 a night. I'll drive all the way from my home to Reno for 3 hrs.

I hope there is no snow at all.

I will be there watching and mingling. That casino owes me after my trip in September, I am coming back to get my money!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor has it that Marvin Church, 2008 ABA BMX Hall of Fame Inductee will begin his acquisition of the NAG 1 plate at this very race!

I didn't know you were going (or anyone from Michigan for that matter) I thought Dugan and I were the only rebels chasing the ABA National circuit.

I was on the fence for this race and now it looks like it's a no go with work training.

Have fun and good luck everyone. Reno is such a great race, kinda reminds me of the Christmas Classic with the laid back attitude at the first race of the year.

I'll be there (28-35 Int) with my 5 & Under Int. Don't know if the Mrs. will race but if she does, it will be like, by then, her 3rd or so race ever (31-35 Girls Cruiser).

Only our 2nd Nat'l ever and our first outta town one... <yikes>

Thanks so much for the comment, it feels like I have been out of racing for a long time.

Melissa and I do normally race. We are pretty good for trading off wins. I believe my last race against her was the 2006 ABA Grands, I won the Grands and she won the ROC. This year with any luck I'll be racing 6 national weekends, it all depends on work and funds. Michigan is not pretty with the economy right now and I'm in the middle of this automotive mess selling industrial controls and process equipment. I have my work cut out for me this year on the business side.

Depending on how soon I can get back on my bike (Michigan has no indoor track) I would like to do Phoenix, So. Cal race, Desoto, Rockford and both Grand's. Which I believe almost all take place before our outdoor tracks even open. I feel pretty unprepared right now with not riding my bike since Rockford.

I really miss racing, think about it all the time. The people are great in the sport and I think that's what you miss the most when your not on the national circuit.

Right now is my snowboarding time of the year. I spend 4-5 days a week hitting up the jumps and half pipe, not the same as BMX but still fun!

And I am not sure if Jason Turnage might be there for 31-35 cruiser,maybe. I will ask him if he going or not.

I don't chase aba circuit, this is my first and for all I know my last, I can't figure the stupid gate, whens aba going all radom?

I wish I could be there for the 31-35 girl cruiser but I am choosing to send my daughter and hubby. I will be riding the national in Oldsmar,fla so if any 31-35 girl cruisers are thinking about coming I'll be there. GOOD LUCK TO ALL IN RENO!!!!

Only for UCI races. Personally I'm glad about that. I like having two different systems and being able to change it up every once in a while.

By the way I was kidding about the circuit and chasing titles for the ABA. I'm not sure if it came out in my post.

I can count on my one hand how many people in Michigan race the ABA circuit. Dugan, Trent and myself.

I just came from steelwheels and doing crappy gates so I'm gruppy right now

Just started a new job, so I'm not positive about that weekend yet. Reno is absolutely on my list though.

More the better. 31-31 cruiser lost Chulo for a while, I think, with his wrist. Also Shad Hedges said he's going to run his 20 this year, so that's 2 riders out of the class for Reno.

I am going to be there 36-40 Expert .It just doesn't sound right and I might race 36-40 cruiser
I will get to pick up my NAG 2 for Class with my Mom and Dad watching so I am stoked about that.
