Getting a bike ready for racing - I will powder coat the frame and bars. For the other pieces that are not andoized, I will have to hand paint (for $$ savings).

Ideas/experience??

1. Carbonfiber forks - I will be painting over them. What paint is recommended?

2. What paint is recommended for smaller components like the brake lever and calipers, or the chain ring?

Is automotive paint good? If so, what type - acrylic, enamel, lacquer? I will not be able to able to bake anything.
