The one here in Albany has a Ross. Yuck. It always seems that ANY other Friday's I visit has a sweet Motomag or DB or Redline. I have often thought of ripping the huge foam Gumby off the wall....but then I come to my senses.

LOL, if you only knew how this topic has been bandied about on this forum over the years...
But it's nice to get an update on the bikes...we're all kind of wondering where they'll go when the TGI stores redecorate again.

I once got kicked out of a TGI Friday's.
I'm pretty laid back, but after it took about 40 min to get an salad, on a not so very busy night, I walked back into the Kitchen unannouced and put an apron on, and yelled, alright guy's and gal's the man is here and he is going to show you A$$ holes how this kitchen thing works,
it was all their fault they gave me forty minutes to drink while i was waiting on my food..
I'm going back there to see if there are any bikes on the wall, and to see if the service got any better,

The name was Huntcart on ebay. And everyone's main grip was the way the hired contractor's just drilled anywhere and everywhere to hang up the bikes. She did join here to defend her actions...... and got hammered pretty bad.
Most were concernced with how the bikes were damaged to be hung, and what would happen to them after a new interior design change. Would they be thrown in the trash?? ect.
I haven't been in the TGIF's in Hilliard in a few years, but they had a black Kuwahara on the wall with a screw drilled into the Maxy Cross pedal area, and a few through the Araya rims.....
We all survived, and still love bikes. It's all good.

Like I said I never post on Vintage BMX Racing, now I know why. You guys get to worked up over a simple thread. I was just trying to show what I thought was a cool pick; had I known how sensitive you guys were I would have reserved my pic. I will stick to BMX Racing threads where people live in the present and not dwell on the past

The more I see these TGIF pics of bikes hanging on the wall, the more stupid the displays look.
Just looks like a bunch of cr a p nailed to a wall. The fact that they want to use old bikes is neat...but geez, clean up the look a bit so it doesn't appear to be a snapshot of someones "storage room".
Just looks totally outdated to me.

I went to TGIF's last night in Maple Grove MN to have an after dinner bump with some friends. While hanging in the bar I noticed a bike on the wall in the dining area. Check this out:
REDLINE MXII

PRO NECK
CW BARS

There was also this cool poster I wanted to take off the wall and give to Paul Smith.
