Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of putting parts together to build a skyway streetbeat. Just bought a 'nos' spinmaster all packaged up etc. Looks complicated!

I never had the intention of fitting a gyro type headset, I was just going to run with a long cable, however this came up at sensible money and seemed a good idea, now I'm not so sure!

Anyone any experience of these before I break it out of its packaging? Is it worth fitting up?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys!

a gyro works better and you dont have to have your stem so high.

are you setting this bike up as a rider or wallhanger?

Its going to be a posh rider!!! Won't be an ornament but won't be heavily abused!!

Not sure what to do, been having a root and the stem does look tall on the pictures I've seen. Don't overly like the look of it, might just keep it for nostalgia and maybe a rainy day cash in!!!

What would people recommend as a old skool headset, the bikes 1985, and I feel I want to keep it all that kinda period.

Thanks

I had my spinmaster 100% dialed in 20 some years ago.

Still tinkering with the new one.

I know they CAN work...
