I'm a huge fan of perusing the museum and checking out the bling that you guys create - I love it! LOVE IT! I can't get enough of it! But my favorite bikes have always been Survivors. I found a nickel Cooks Bros. with the european BB and original tuf neck and mismatched alloy crank arms about ten years ago that couldn't have had more soul. I kick myself for ever letting it go.

I just stumbled across a bike I had never heard of (never new Mototbecane made bmx bikes) and after obsessing about it for a day or two, I bought it. It's a total survivor. Looks like the only parts not original are the tires. Here's a link to a pic -

i love the look of that bike. low profile, very roomy, stylish, all chrome and c-dub's to boot! i'd ride that everyday! glad you got it. now, i'm jealous.

What's funny is that the new thing for newschool bikes this year is a very low top tube to reduce the amount of metal on the frame. they look pretty much like that frame. he he he.

Nice find- Very cool. I almost let my frame go as well, but I am so happy I didn't. For some wild reason I am finding it very satisfying rebuilding my old friend. Kinda like waking up on the 4th of July w/ a handful of M80's, Blackcats, and grosses of Bottle Rockets when you were a kid.
