Click to view attachmentI picked up some 26" x 9" bars at a local shop here in Annapolis Maryland. They were up in the attic and the last ones he had. They don't have a stamp or decal on them but the chrome is perfect and they are NOS. They do have a slight backwards sweep to them.

Kind of look like CW/Bandito bars. A close up of the welds would help. Could possibly a knock off too.

What am I looking for with the welds. I will post a picture but the weld is more of a constant bead instead of a wave pattern like my GT Pro bars. Is that any indication that they are a knockoff?

Sort of toothpaste looking almost as if someone soldered them? Then they would be a knock off, maybe from a huffy Stu Thompson (I've never seen chrome ones, but doens't mean they don't exist). There is another company, I think Wald, made a bunch of knock off BMX parts that were sold for cheap in shops. How does the knurling look on the bottom? Is it just straight lines or is there a heavy diamond-like pattern.

I'm going to have to say Knockoffs. I'm looking at the welds and I don't think I would race them. LOL I'll put the used Powerlite bars that s,I cored on the bike for safety reasons.

They also don't start to bend upward right after the knurl which tells me fakes. They are still pretty cool looking but not for my every day rider. Thanks for the help.
