Need a little help here. I actually found a complete National Pro In a pile of bikes getting thrown away by a neighbor. Chrome frame and forks pro neck bars bars, anodized red pro neck II neck, pro neck 1 piece cranks, Arya rims, red anodized mx seat clamp, ame grip. He told me to take what I wanted since he was waiting for the garbage man to pick the pile up. I ordered a new chain and grips and I am going to put it on ebay. I just want to know a round about price I should ask for it I would rate it a 8 1/2 out of 10. Thank you for any help I get. Nate

Sadly, the market has bottomed out for shoddy frames like the Nat Pro. I, being the nice guy that I am, will gladly pay half the shipping if you want to send it over here. I take cruddy frames like that and cut them up to make wheelchairs for poor kids who can't afford them. You'll feel better for doing it.

Didn't know there were such dicks on here but it's cool no big deal you most likely could not afford it anyway. that is why one would hate in such a way have a nice ride. and I was asking to see if anyone knew of what one has sold for in the past not a set price nice wheelchair comment you should feel good about yourself but I see by all your posts that you live on this site nice life loser

You gotta understand...Guys showing up with a "What's it worth" post as their first post, is like an old cliche around here. Hence the ball-busting that ensues.

Serious, if you really did score that, eBay is definitely the gauge.

But hey, we love pics, and you may get a solid offer from someone if you posted some. Happens a bit.

Wow, didn't mean to get your panties in a bunch. I was being most sarcastic. What you did is covered in the FAQ's of this board. What you did was a big no-no around here. If you want to a price, go to EBay and do a little research.

Wow, that was articulate. Are you in the 8th grade? For the record, dont kid yourself by thinking most of us could'nt afford your newly aquired holy grail. Yeah all would agree National Pros are nice but they are far from the end all be all of bmx collectiing.

If you really want some answers, look on eBay for completed auctions. If that doesnt work, throw it up on eBay with a reserve of what YOU think its worth and see what happens. If it sells, well then thats what its worth, if it doesnt, you shot too high. These arent baseball cards, whats worth a bundle to someone, I wouldnt give two cents for. Thats just the way the hobby is. Good luck and welcome aboard vintagebmx.

I understand I worded it wrong my bad and I made it way past 8th grade that was funny though, also I have not wore panties in a while and I was drunk.... J/K Thanks for your help and I enjoyed the hazing I guess I had it coming. I looked on ebay and all I found was the bars and they went for $341 not bad I don't think. I got pretty good money out of the last of my bikes I sold on there. like my slingshot that I am sure I will catch another beat down from you guys on here, but again it's cool again thanks and for real I never wore panties

Hey PK. what is the holy grail of vintage bmx anyway? maybe if I run across it in a pile of junk like I did this one, maybe you can buy it. let me know I will keep my eyes open for ya.

Sorry, I had to rib you though. Nat Pro's are very nice and a bit on the rare side (seriously, I'd glad pay shipping to my house, but I won't cut it up, promise). The Problem is, not everyone knows what they are. They weren't around as long as Redline or GT etc. They also didn't have the a zillion ads like the big boys to get the exposure. I can only think of a few different ads that ran in BMXA, Plus or the ABA ad. As for me, if I found one, I'd keep the sucker and build it how I wanted.

As far as holy grails, who really knows. I think it's up to the person. For me, a RRS 24" would be mine. Or Maybe a VDC Gorila. No, wait, a Brackens, no, no an unmolested Hutch 24. See my point? But that Nat Pro is definitely someone's. I guess you could put it on Ebay for that person (who'll pay as much as they can to get it hopefully). But, like I said before, I'd keep it.

As far as panties go, I like 'em all lacy without a lot to the imagination ..................... on hot chicks.

Yeah, I was surprised to see a set of National Pro bars go for so much, if yours has a real set on it, then maybe thats a starting point in determining what your whole bike could bring.

Omart said it...holy grails are different for everyone. For someone its an exact replica of the bike they had as a kid or for someone else, its a rare unseen bike like SE Racing's STR-1 or a true exotica like the Hutch Pro Star. To be honest, I'd love a National Pro one day but since I am in a downsizing mode right now, I cant think about adding to the herd.

You see that's the whole problem with asking how much it's worth here! Guy's find a bike then asks how much it's worth because they have no clue what they have then they go on ebay and try to sell it for top dollar. This site is for BMX enthusiast not for guys trying to make a buck. As far as guys not being able to afford it Xairx23 buddy you are on the wrong site! You See There are Guys here that have collection's that cost more then the house you live in! This is a hobby for most of us we are not in it for money we are in it for fun and for you to call people loosers is uncalled for. If you seen Alex's/PK collection you would not even made the statement above. If you want to know what it's worth on Ebay then put it on Ebay. If You want to sell it here come up with a price and list it as such. Enough Said!!!!
