Over the last few years I've collected a bunch of stuff, but really havent built to much because I'm waiting to do them exactly how I want them....but now I'm tired of waiting, so I've decided I'm going to try and do a few builds over the next few weeks, even if they are not exactly how I want them.....kinda gettin back to the roots, and the run wuch ya brung philosophy. When I was a kid I wouldnt have waited until I got a certain part, so why should I wait now. So I figure I'll throw a few bikes together and they will be works in progress.

I plan to go an entirely different direction with this bike eventually, but it works for now, and I think it actually came out pretty good ! I still need to get some brake cables and decals, but other than that it's done...

Pretty much all survivor stuff here, with a few NOS bits....nothing refinished !

I totally like the different approach on this one! And it turned out nice too! I am diggin' the rider looks ..and the seatpost cover!

Nice! You sure it's not an 87 or just the fork?
Are both brakes turquoise scripted 880s? I'd love to trade something for them.

That front 880 is pretty rare if it was not built up of parts and painted. 880 with the over sized nippon through bolt. Very cool. What is the back brake?

That's too funny , I just bought a NOS white seatpost cover from Ginny. It was a whopping 1$

I had one BITD ..

Thanks guys !

This was a fun build, I built it without a plan, just started going through some stuff and came up with this. It really is like something I might have built bitd, I always dug black tires and parts even during the color craze because they seemed to wear longer and were easier to keep clean.
